Final Monologue

Shot 3-The establishing shots of London and typical London sites such as Big Ben to set the scene. The following part of the monologue will be played over the top of this shot. This part of the monologue is roughly about 5 seconds long.

How's a guy like me meant to make a living around here?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shot 7- The main character sitting on the floor with people passing by as if he is still and the rest of the world is still moving on.The following is the part of the monologue that will be payed over the top off shot 7.This part of the monologue roughly goes on for about 25 seconds

It's every man for himself and only the lucky ones have a chance of getting anywhere in life.

Nowadays you can go from being a nobody, to being feared by everybody.
Me? I'm the kinda guy that had a chance.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shot 8- 18- Is the rest of the opening sequence and will be the part where the main character gets into the cab and is now rich. But you will not know its the same character from before until right at the end off the monologue when his face is revealed a second time as the rich man this time. The folllowing part of the monologue will be played over the top of this scene. This part of the monologue will last 1 minute

And him? He's the kinda guy that took that chance.
It's not for me to judge but it look like he's a damn sight better off than me.
To get rich, and make it big, you've got to want it.
The people you know determine who you'll be.
Cos' this is a tale of Rags to Riches and how a guy like me made it in a day.

We have discussed were we plan to use the monologue.we have separated the monologue up into 3 different parts to show the shots and the monologue over the top. Each individual member contributed to this monologue as we all decided to input our ideas to create what we believe to be the best monologue suitable for our introduction.
Our monologue plays a big part in our whole opening sequence therefore this monologue has to be a huge success otherwise it will cause our whole opening sequence to fail.
