Here is a bit of background information about Marcus, he was born and raised in the slums of North London. He didn't attend school till he was 8 due to family circurmstances.During his time at school he found it hard to interact with other students and was often left to play alone at breaks and lunch. He did not have many friends at school and was isolated. He found it very hard to work his way up in the social ladder.He left secondary school with very little qualifications and decided to doss off for the next year after leaving school, but one day he decided to make a name for himself. meaning that he now has a job in the heart of the city in London where all the money is to be made.His wages are potentially rising to £55,000 annually in the next 3 years. He is basically an underdog the same as our media products character. They both rise from nothing to become quite successful; even if it is through different ways it still has the underdog ring to it. This is one reason Marcus would be typical member of our target audience as he can relate to the storyline.
I have chosen to include a Apple MAC as our audeince that we would be targetting towards with our opening sequence would be very up to date with the current technology that society has to offer. Including this computer helps us a lot knowing that the guy has a computer as it enables us to know places that we can advertise. If the man is up to date with technology he will definately be a user of the iinternet this means that we can taker this into consideration and possibly advertise our opening sequence upon the internet.
I also included the twitter and facebook logo on the picture above. This is neccesary as this shows us that he is caught up in social media websites therefore this is another place that we are able to advertise our media piece.
The landscape of London in the background behind the guy is used because most of our target audience are going to be situated in London as this is where our opening sequence is filmed therefore people will be intrigued to see it if they come from the actuall area of London. However there are other people in our target audience thst will not be from London.
I have chosen to include a picture of money to show that our target audience would be well motiovated by money and have a great opinion upon the subject this is because our opening sequence is heavily money related as the main character becomes rich.
I have also included a camera above as people that are interested in photography will also be part of our target audience a our opening sequence has many establishing shots that they will be able to admire and appreciate.
